BurgerFi is an American fast casual restaurant chain. They pride themselves in their all-natural burgers using only the Top 1% of natural Angus beef.


There is a rise in online and mobile ordering for fast food restaurants. The current Burgerfi app is functional but would benefit in a new visual direction - one that is not only more intuitive for the user but also more integrated with their website experience and their current campaign theme of “Burgers for Every1”.

The advertising campaign, created by Rochester, New York-based agency Partners + Napier, highlights that everyone has a niche and ability to excel in something and they deserve to celebrate what qualities make them unique with a burger that is special too.  The ads feature fun, unexpected imagery, headlines and soft pastel backgrounds.

Users are first onboarded into the app where they can see features of the app. 

Users can choose to either make an account or log into their existing accounts.

A side navigation makes it easy for the user to find what they’re looking for.

Icons on the menu indicate different types of food available. Food cards display the price and calories as well as a heart icon that can be clicked to add the items to favorites.

Food can be customized by selecting different options. This customization style was integrated from the Burgerfi website.

Check out is straightforward where the user can add to their quantity or remove items. Users can also add special instructions or promo codes to their order.

Users can save their favorite items by clicking the heart icon. All of their favorites can be accessed through the favorites page from which they can view and directly order.

The rewards page will be in line with the campaign and contains various deals and rewards that app users can take advantage of.
